I like to run around obstacle courses and explore new territory. I'll pretend that the furniture legs are the trees in a forests and the stairs and sofa are the hill and mountains for me to explore. I enjoy getting my daily petting sessions and I love my organic wood toys made especially for rabbits. I like toys LOVE hay!!!! I've been good with my litter box so that I can be a well-mannered rabbit.

Opal
My name is Opal. I'm a gentle bunny girl. I'm young and I like to explore and find a nice skid-proof places to run around and binkie when I'm happy. I love my greens and my plate is very clean in a new hours after I've been fed. I do like my hay and pellets as well, but greens are my favorite healthy food. I was turned into the shelter as a nearly naked bunny. Yes, furless! I was a sad sight to see. Thank goodness my human rabbit advocate placed me in a foster home. With one treatment of medication and good nutrition, I now have a lovely coat of fur and I'm a silver marten. I'm mostly grey with beige tummy fur and a hint of caramel colored fur around the beige. Needless to say, I'm pretty. Come meet me an fall in love with my sweet personality and good looks ! Have toys?

Cinnabun
My name is Cinnabun. I'm a active, playful bunny girl. I'm spayed and microchipped for my safety and health. I'm not shy. Rather I'm a forward and bold bunny. I'm generally easy to pick up and I love being petted. As wonderfully fun and sweet as I am, I can be demanding at times especially when it's time to eat. I get so excited that I may paw at the food as it's being set down. It's just smells so good and I can't wait! I don't always like my stuff touched. So be sure to pet my head in exchange for reaching into my room ( cage). I'm a little impatient at feeding time, but don't let that make you shy away from me. I make up for it in many other ways since I've got bunny moxie!
I'm pretty good getting along with other bunnies during play time as long as we have plenty of space to hope around and explore in. If you think I may be the bunny of your dreams come check me out!

Colby
My name is Colby. I'm a handsome young mixed dwarf. I've been fixed so that I'm ready to be your new pet and family member. I'm a curious and active bunny who loves to explore, dance and prance around, runaround and kick my heels up in the air. I'm a happy boy. I like toys. I love to have hay to play in. I use a litter box to do my business in, but I love to have another litter box filled with hay just for play. I like to burrow into it, push the hay around, and snack to my hearts content on the tastiest blades of hay. I'm easy to hold and really love it when my fur is stroked. I like to look at the bunny girls so if you have one that might want fun-loving bunny boy, I might be the one!

Alex in Bunerland
Alex in Bunderland was found wandering around alone on the streets. He is extremely friendly and curious so we are sure that there was no trouble catching him. He is great with his litterbox and very social. She is also easy to handle and likes to be petted and/or held. He is young so does great with other rabbits and also likes to visit with the cats at the shelter. He is about three months old and will be neutered and microchipped as part of his adoption.

Janice Hoplin
Janis Hoplin is an independent free spirit. She was found living in an orchard with other rabbits where she had a litter of babies but they all died because it was too dangerous for them to be out in the wild. Janis is lucky to have made it indoors. She is extremely food motivated and does not turn anything edible down. She is perfect with her litterbox and does great with cats. Her hair is thick and fluffy so she is softer than most buns but does not require any extra care.

Armani
Hi! I'm Armani. One of the three designer babies. Mackey thinks he's hot
stuff but I'm unique! My trade mark is my special ears and sweet
personality. When I'm not looking in the mirror, I want to be an explorer.
I climb up my no waste Hay box to survey the world. One of these days,
sooner than later, I would Love to find my forever home. I do need special
grooming -Would you like to learn how to groom me? My foster mom can teach
you. She said that my fur is the easiest one to groom than Gucci and Mackey
because my fur is more like a silky Lionhead. I need plenty of toys to keep
me busy. If you can't adopt my brother too then I need a pretty plush bunny
to keep me company. Although I prefer one of my brothers. I like alfalfa
Hay and I use a litter box! I'm not neutered yet because I'm too young.
What are you waiting for? See you soon!

Gucci
Hi, there. I'm Gucci. The smallest of the designer babies. You know what
they say. Good things come in small packages. How true! Mackey & Armani,
are gorgeous, But I'm just the cutest bunny imaginable. One look at me and
it will be love at First sight. My foster mom loves me so much she enjoys
grooming me every day. I came with very bad matts because nobody knew how
to groom. I am getting use to grooming and now I am matt free. Hey, I feel
happy! I am joyful. I live in a nice roomy X-pen with my brothers,
Mackey and Armani. We can be adopted as singles but much happier with a
Bunny friend. I need lots of bunny toys and no waste hay box to prevent hay
in my fur. I eat Alfalfa hay and small portion of good veggies. I need to
be neutered when I'm old enough. There will be a grooming training with my
adoption because I don't want nasty matts ever again.
No way. Don't keep me waiting.

Mackey
Hi, I'm Mackey and one of the designer babies. I'm quite special. I'm a
Gorgeous Angora & Lionhead. I am calm and sweet and you wouldn't know it
but I have a black belt in Binkies. My foster mom said I look like a
bouncing ball when I do my happy dance. I play with my toys and run around
with my brothers, Armani & Gucci. They are available for adoption too! I
eat Alfafa hay because that is the Good hay that babies eat. I also like
good veggies but just small portion because I'm still a baby. I do need
daily grooming and my adoption comes with Hands on training. My mom fusses
with my bangs and she thinks I look quite handsome with my fur parted in the
middle what do you think? Oh, I like toys. Come and see me. Just email-
Auntie Heather for an appointment. I almost forgot, I need to be neutered
later because I'm still too young.

Hi! I am friendly, playful and very good looking - I have a bunch of calico spots all over my fur - I am a bit sad as my mom can't have me anymore - I am already in foster care! This foster family is very nice!!! But this is temporary- I miss my own home so I hope to find a nice, loving new home real soon. I like toys and hugs and when you come to play with me - I enjoy wicker tunnels and my tent and willow balls. I use my litter box and prefer soft fleece flooring in my room - In this picture I am sitting on a shelf of a cage I really do not like. I will appreciate living in an x pen or some other nice spacious area. Maybe I could have my very own soft rug, litter box Hay basket, & toys. Looking forward to meeting you! Moomba and Mufasa
These adorable girls are lion heads that were rescued after being abandoned in an open field with their entire family! A very sad situation. We have not been able to locate their mother. We also rescued Devon, who we think is related to them given his coloring and breed characteristics. He weighs about 3.5 pounds, white and gold Like Moomba.
They are so sweet and very feisty too. They love to play in their little playhouses and with any toys around. They toss small willow balls and push rattle toys about to amuse themselves. When you come to them they appreciate gentle holding and need much more of this all of their lifetime. They appear very healthy – Each day they become more and more secure as they realize they are safe at last. They primarily eat alfalfa hay and pellets right now – we have recently added a bit of greens, They appreciate quiet and can easily be startled (must be their survival instincts that are still strong). Now they are safe in loving foster care. Naturally, they live together. They may go out as pair or to individual homes with another bunny later. Right now they are somewhat dependant on each other. This may change as they mature. Sweethearts and oh so beautiful. Mufasa has a full mane already – the rest of their fur is short –just perfect in every way. Appropriate for an adult home or a family with older children- No dogs please.
Born in May or late April 2010
They are very small – They will most likely become about 3.5 pounds when they are full grown.

Kiara
Kiara nicknamed Kee is a special lovely and very small black Havana mix bunny with one tiny dot of white on her nose. She was born 11-2009 and has been in foster care ever since. She is very loving and needs lots of time and attention. She run, romps plays and prefers to be the only bunny thank you!
She does not seem fond of dog barking and she just ignores cats. She will need a super loving parent (or family) to spend lots of time with her- She’ll jump all over you and is very sweet. She also has a distinct independent streak. She loves her toys, willow balls stuffed with hays and her no waste hay rack. She has a stuffed bunny her friend made for her. She loves that bunny so it is coming with her. She also comes with a wicker tent which she has become attached to in her foster home. Kiara is spayed and very healthy. Kiara lives in an extended x pen play area with a rung topped by a fresh clean cotton sheet. She uses a litter box very well. She loves all sort of hay and her veggies of choice include curly parsley, dandelion greens and carrot tops. Sometimes she will eat spring mix. Such a spoiled girl. She has only ¼ cp pellets and day and barely eats that. She adores hays of all kinds and we make her hay salads of orchard, timothy and grass hays.

Ursula
See my video!
Ursula is one of the mellowest rabbits to ever come to the shelter and quickly became a volunteer favorite. She arrived as a stray but was clearly loved and likes to spend her time with people. She is easy to handle, likes to be held and kissed, and she never wants us to stop petting her. She does great with cats and other rabbits too so would be great if a neutered boy bunny was looking for a life long companion. She is great with her litterbox and will make a special family very very happy.

Carrie
Carrie was brought to the shelter as a stray and was spayed quickly in case she was pregnant. She is a small bun and looks very dainty when she hops around the house. She is a little shy but very gentle and perfect with her litterbox. She is used to living around other rabbits so should be able to bond to other rabbits easily if your bunny needs a friend.

Spencer and Tracy are very bonded neutered males. They are both very easy going and social and are the perfect house rabbits for a loving family. They play, chase, groom each other, and love to snuggle together. Spencer, is big and white with grey spots and he loves to be held and petted. Tracy is more on the shy side and Spencer's closest friend. They love to play supervised outdoors during the day and watch TV with their family in the evening. They are box trained, love carrots, apples, strawberries, and bananas, as well as a variety of green veggies. Their owner's elderly mother will be moving in and will no longer have the space needed for these sweet little bunnies. Cookie
Cookie is a shy, but sweet lop bunny girl – She came in from a recent large scale rescue in June 2010. Cookie has a lovely brown coat and expressive brown eyes. She seems to love her willow tunnel and she is slowly warming up to humans. Sadly, Cookie was used as a breeder bunny – She is very young but has not received love and kindness during her first few months, so she has some catching up to do- Who wouldn’t want to give this s sweetie some kisses and a hug? She needs lots of love, great timothy and alfalfa hay, timothy food and will need to be spayed in July. She enjoys x pen living where she has plenty of room. She is becoming accustomed to her litter box. She is doing pretty well. She still is caring for her four babies so she has not yet been spayed 6-2010 - She loves all sort of fresh dark leafy greens. Has shown interest in willow toys so far and is amused by the stuffed bunny we put in her enclosure. Cookie is afraid of Cats and dogs. She is a ok with other bunnies. After she is spayed she may make a Great companion for a single bunny. Please come to meet Cookie!

Romeo
Hi, my name, as you can see, is Romeo. I get the name because I am so gorgeous and handsome. I'm a black and tan baby bunny. I was surrendered to the shelter because my owner couldn't take care of me. I'm pretty little right now. I weigh 1.25 pounds and am growing every day. I am amazingly friendly for a little baby, but I always come to the cage door and want to be held. I'm pretty fast so if you put me in a big space I make it really fun to catch me. It is a very fun game for me and hopefully for the other person. I'd love to find a foster a foster until I grow up a little bit, and then of course my forever home.

Buster
Hi my name is Buster. I'm a neutered, medium to large very handsome white and brown bunny. I have a very mellow personality, like people, and like to sit with them and play. I came in with my family (my sons and my girlfriend) on an owner surrender. Our people just didn't have the space for us since we had grown to a family of 4. So, I'm now waiting to be discovered. I have very soft fir, am gentle with people, and want to be in a home again. I'd make a good family bun or just a one on one bun. I'm flexible because of my good nature.

Elvis Parsley
See my video!
We hope you have a cat that likes rabbits because Elvis tries extra hard to spend time with the shelter cats. He even goes into their kennels and takes over their beds hoping they will come back. He is great with his litterbox, very happy, and likes to be outside his pen visiting people and other rabbits. He is a very mellow rabbit and easy to handle but prefers to get all his petting on the floor. He came in as a stray so was a little brown at first but he will be a beautiful silver color when his new coat grows in.

Acorn & Cosmo
Our names are Acorn and Cosmo, we are medium sized brothers. Our mother was a French Lop and our father was a white bunny with brown markings. So here we are almost identical twins. We look mostly agouti. We aren't sure if our ears will fall, we are still young you know, less than a year. Right now we keep hearing people say something about airplane ears, but you know that is not so nice. We are both neutered; we are friendly, easy with people, however because of our youth and energy we do a lot of running around. We aren't exactly lap bunnies at our age. We are easy to pick up, but a little hard to catch in a big room. We are fast. Acorn had the hardest time being still for our picture, so he is a little blurry. But just look at me, Cosmo, and you will know what Acorn looks like. We were surrendered with our mom and dad to the shelter and now we are looking for a new good home with room for us and lots attention to give. We are sweet and love people.

Buttercup
Buttercup is a lovely, sweet and energetic little girl - She was rescued from a very sad situation, someone letting their pet rabbits breed unsupervised in the backyard! She was the only one of her litter that survived, due to the kindly intervention of a neighbor who bottle-raised her. She did, however, end up getting very ill, and ended up at Aptos-Creekside Vet Hospital. She has since been in foster care with a wonderful vet, Dr. Hilary Stern. Now that she is 8 weeks old and very healthy it is time for Buttercup to find her forever home. She loves being petted, and is very active and amusing. Loves to run around in circles and do binkies. Gets along great with other bunnies. Doing a good job peeing/pooping in her cage. Litter box training 101 complete. Now she wants to meet a special someone to be her family – She’ll need a permanent, indoor, loving home –she likes children and can be with other bunnies.

Bungelina
My name is Bungelina. I'm a lovely Havana rabbit. That means my fur can very dark brown to shiny black. I was abandoned at the shelter when my so-called guardian thought I was pregnant. So instead of giving birth to my babies in a cozy nest I had built, I gave birth in a cold metal cage. I tried my best to build a nest for my babies on such short notice. I am a good mother who feeds and grooms my babies well. They are growing up healthy and strong. Soon though they will be finding forever homes with nice human families and I'll need a loving home as well. Many times the babies are adopted and the mothers are looked over. We can be just as beautiful and loving as our children, so don't miss out on meeting me. OK?
Who are my babies ? Check out Arial, Artemis, Laurel, Annie Lynn, Alexandria, Alyssa, Atia and Lila. They are all wonderful!

Ziggy
Ziggy is a loving and very gentle silky angora boy.
He plays happily and loves tunnels and toys. Snuggling is good- He is very happy with that. Ziggy came from the Oroville rescue - He once lived in an aviary - an awful place - He is safe now. He has been with since Mid May and his fur is no longer matted. He is much happier and is quite a fun little fellow. Adopt Ziggy to be your friend for life! He's a honey bunny. Ziggy eats plenty of alfalfa hay and alfalfa pellets still and loves greens. We aren't sure about how big he will be - maybe 4.5 pounds- His fur will certainly require grooming. He is so worth it. He lives in an x pen and chooses to sleep in a Marchioro or under his willow tent. What a sweet boy! Oh, he is not yet neutered. Have to wait until July for that.

Sachi
Hi, I am Sachi. I am a small and friendly Netherland dwarf bunny. I came to The Haven from a shelter that does not know much about caring for bunnies, so I am still a little scared when people first pick me up. I love people though, and especially like nose rubs. I would do best in a calm adult home of my own. I am a little afraid of other rabbits, and would probably do best as a single bunny.

Ashley Slate
See my video!
Ashley was found running around loose shortly after Easter and we are so lucky she found us. She is extremely loving and super friendly. She is also easy to handle, likes to be held, and is doing great with her litterbox. She is a small rabbit and will not get any bigger. She does great with cats and is available to meet bunny boyfriends now that she she is spayed. She is not picky with food or veggies and will make a perfect house rabbit for a special family.

Dustin Hopman
See my video!
Dustin is a very social and very active teenager. He loves to play with the shelter cats when he is out running around and he is definitely the boss of them. He was found as a stray in Watsonville but was obviously treated well by his owners before they dumped him. His foster mom absolutely adored him and said that he was very interested in spending time with her whenever he could. We also recently found out that he is a kisser and will spend lots of time grooming his people and probably needs a bunny girlfriend that wants to be groomed once he has been neutered for a while.

Maya and Linus
HELP!!! Our human caregiver has to move out of the Santa Cruz area due to economics (what ever that is), and we need a home right away. Our mom is very upset. So are we -but there is no way we can all live in the car.
We are grown up, healthy, spayed and neutered bunnies. We are also frisky, and curious. We love veggies - and sometimes we get a tiny piece of banana- Yummmm! but only a bit because it's so sugary.
Linus (that's me) is a climber- I loves to see the world from a taller perspective. I also likes tossing my toys. ..that is when I can get them away from Maya.
Maya (that's me I am the rex!) does phenomenal binkies and I also like to jump up on the bed to say hi!.
We both love to be petted, but with all 4 feet on the floor, please.
We play and seek a safe secure place where we can truly be happy the rest of our lives. Here we are!!! Love, Maya and Linus

Mirabelle
Mirabelle is a sweet black and white mini-lop mix. She is always happy to
see you, hoping you have food or strokes for her. She likes to investigate
her surroundings, and her favorite resting place is on a towel on top of her
carrier. Mirabelle has been eating timothy pellets, timothy hay, and oat
hay. Her favorite greens (so far) are dandelion, swiss chard, parsley, and
carrot tops - she likes to eat the feathery ends first! She enjoys small
amounts of carrot and dried apple bits too. She has been spayed and weighs
about 5 lbs. She is a ittle darling, perfect in every way.
She is a very young rabbit and sweet as can be. Come to meet her soon!

Lyla
Hi, my name is Lyla. I am only 4 months old and I love life!
Give me toys, and hay, then let's play! I am at a shelter because my people could no longer take care of me. At first I did not know what to think. I waited for them to come back, but they did not. I talked to the other rabbits here and they say that is "just the way it is". Well, it will be ok. I am a positive bunny.
I believe that I can offer so much love that a special person will want to adopt me right away. I am very sweet, super friendly and easy to be with. I have lovely pure white fur and magical ruby eyes. Stunning if I say so myself.
I love jumping in the air and having fun. I'm an explorer too. I want to see and feel everything. I am excited to find my forever home. I learned what that means. I am an indoor bunny. I will greet you eagerly for pets and playtime. I like music and action! Sometimes I jump up on the cage top, just to be picked up! I am a good girl. I am curious and very interested in everything. They say that most likely a person will adopt me because of my pretty self and my personality! Yea!!!! See you soon.

Alisha & Alexander
Hello, we are Alesha and Alexander. We were dumped in the
Mountains one evening in March. It was cold, scary and dark. We were left in the middle of a huge forest with hawks and owls looking right at us!
We were terrified. Our hearts were beating so fast!!! I did not like the
open field and there were all sort of wild creatures out there. We tried to
be so very still so we could not be seen. We hid as best we could too- could and it worked. We looked around for food and water, we did not know what to do. We tried to hide but couldn't find anywhere that felt like home. There was nothing we could find that we recognized to eat. We were separated when some nice people rescued me, Alesha. Alexander was frightened and ran away and was rescued 3 days later. It was a miracle he survived. We are looking for our forever indoor home, we are both friendly outgoing, and cute. We are smaller at about 4 pounds each
We are looking for an indoor, Permanent, loving family please! WE finally are getting settled in - Like toys, Hays and pets.

Brownie
My name is Brownie. I'm a handsome brown dutch who is just the perfect size for holding in your arms. I was featured on the front page of the San Jose Mercury News, 7/2009, when the Moreland School Great Rabbit Rescue story broke. "Run for your life" was the caption. Many people remember me as the baby bunny trying to dodge death by dog chasing or teenage shootings. I was so fortunate to have been rescued as a baby bunny. I might like a girlfriend bunny of my own, too, someday. My foster mom had children and a cat, so I don't mind older children who are kind to me and cats don't bother me anymore. I enjoy being petting and don't mind being carried. I do like snuggling in my fleece bed covered by my willow tent so that's included in my adoption since it's my most favorite place to be. I'm looking forward to having a forever home and family to spoil me and give me all the TLC a bunny needs. Of course I also come with a Moreland gift bag that includes my newspaper story and other goodies.

Lizzie & Olivia
Our names are Lizzie and Olivia We were rescued from a big school yard with 116 other bunny friends. We barely survived that place. We were so scared. Thank goodness we were rescued by the Rabbit Haven volunteers! We are good friends so would love to be adopted together. We can keep each other company when you are at work or school, but we are always ready to be loved and petted when you are home. We are spayed already and potty trained. We are curious and playful and love bunny chew toys like apple tree twigs, organic pine cones, and unpeeled willow balls. We eat hay and dark leafy greens. We prefer an indoor home as our life as outside bunnies was very difficult and scary. We've come a long way and now we are looking for our forever home. We really appreciated the good things in life because of our past. We'd love to be showered with love. Come meet us!

Mushka
My name is Mushka. I'm a spayed bunny girl who is about 2 years old. I'm a gentle bunny who enjoys gentle rubs on the forehead, ears and back. I'm generally a calm bunny but when it time for my timothy pellets I'm all a bundle of excitement. I just love the way they crunch in my mouth! I was turned into the shelter by my family who could no longer take care of me due to the economy. I do miss being a part of a family and I'm looking forward to finding my human companions so that we can have snuggle and play bunny games together. I'm a relaxed bunny over all and you may often find me flopped over on my side – I love to flop and play. I'm an adorable larger bunny. Cassiopeia
This Beautiful, loving rabbit is a young girl who has been health checked and is spayed. Sadly she was turned in as her humans could not provide the care she needed. She came in badly matted and she is so young. It was as if she had never been brushed.
Casie is amazing and gentle in every way. Loves to be held and kissed. Enjoys romping and playtime, lots of toys and good hay and greens. She seems hungry often so she may get to be a big girl. She will be in the care of Kyomi while her fur is growing back. If you wish to know more about how to groom her please ask us.
She is loving and affectionate. What a precious bunny. She will follow you everywhere and loves to be with her humans. She has not seen a toy she does not like and she appreciates a nice no waste hay rack and clean fresh sheets as her flooring.
Naturally she will want to live with her family and maybe later on would enjoy the companionship of another rabbits as well. Come to meet amazing Cassiopeia.

My name is Espresso. I'm one of four little ones that were born at a shelter. My mother is Schatzi. We are very happy to be in a foster home growing up rather than at the shelter. Here we get to play games, have plenty of toys, and eat good food. I'm the brave and curious one of the bunch. I don't mind being held or carried around in a softly lined basket. My siblings are so cute that you may want to adopt a few of us to double or triple the amount of joy you'll have loving us. We'll are all very appreciative of tender, love, and care. My mother Schatzi is a very sweet bunny mom. She is easy to hold and enjoys long massages. We take after her - huggable and easy to fall in love with. Take us home and experience the fun!

See my video!
Evander was recently returned to the shelter because his owners were unable to properly care for him. His video and pictures were taken when he was a teenager so he is a little bigger now but just as sweet. He is extremely loving and seems very comforted when being held and he relaxes immediately when snuggled up near your face. He is doing well with his litterbox. He loves willow chew toys from the Busy Bunny Company and Cottontail Cottages and other toys he can climb on top, or inside of. He is very easy going and interested in other rabbits.

Cranberry
Cranberry has a beautiful white and tanish/orangeish markings. He has an independent spirit,
and enjoys chewing on boxes and willow balls. He loves to toss his toys. He is curious and adventurous and needs a B I G space where this big bunny boy can roam around and explore his world.. a bunny savvy family will do him good. He likes cats and his humans too.
Cranberry loves to held and stroked with loving attention! He has had a rough life prior to getting into the Haven, hence, the occasional 'tough bunny act'.
He once had a partner who helped him ride out the challenging times, but he seems to prefer to be a single bunny at this time. Maybe down the road? Who knows? He's had the experience of being friendly with his foster mom's cat, so would likely adjust to a household cat, if introduced with patience and gentleness on both sides.
He would be better in a home with older kids - or bunny savvy children - and lots of love and attention from his primary caregivers. Naturally he love greens, hay and uses a crock food and water dish- and toys!

Hazelnut
Hazelnut is a lovely, gentle, sweet small lop eared bunny - with varying shades of soft brown fur. She feels more safe when she has something solid underneath her feet, so she would prefer someone who could meet her on her own level. Although, she does not mind being held.
She's had a lot of challenges for her short life: her jaw was broken early in her life and she had surgery. She healed totally. Then thought she had a 'forever home' but had to leave as the parents had no time for her. So Hazelnut came to the Haven. With that background, it's easy to forgive any shyness she might exhibit as you first get to know her. She is just a precious, special bunny.
Hazelnut has shown an amazing sense of courage, and has come through her trials, as a bunny who just wants to be loved and petted! She's also independent enough to be quite specific about where she wants her litterbox; will occasionally play with toys; LOVES her pellets and greens; is soothed by music on the radio when you're away; and enjoys a good cuddle session. She will be perfect for a calm gentle home filled with love.
She responded well to her foster mom's cat, so is likely to get along with another house cat,
if introduced with gentleness and patience. She had a partner bunny, who helped her through the last of her challenges; so she may be a good candidate for another partner in the future.
Seeking a special person who wants a friend for life!

Rain
Rain is a black lop mix girl. When she came to The Haven her ears were hanging straight down, but now with lots of good food & love, her ears are more perked up! She was born in January 2008. Rain is spayed and she's looking for her forever family.
Rain is very gentle and super sweet. Nothing much bothers this girl -- loud noises, barking dogs, whatever -- she just goes with the flow. She comes up constantly for head scratches and if she gets a back massage, boy oh boy, she is one happy girl! She loves to run around for a bit, but then is perfectly content to lie down and hang out. She is doing well with her litterbox, is used to small dogs, small birds, other bunnies and guinea pigs. She would love to be adopted soon.

Jeramyah
Jeramyah came to the Haven from Placer County with 4 other baby bunnies; they all had been rescued from a shelter. Although they were filthy, he was the only one to have any injuries; his left eye was infected and had a laceration. He is all healed now and has been cleared by the vet to be adopted. He has been neutered also and is ready for his 4ever home
Jeramyah is an active, feisty bunny who loves to run & jump. he also loves to eat, especially his greens -- He will play with his toys and needs them rotated frequently so he doesn't get bored. He prefers to be cuddled while wrapped in a blankie, a "bunny burrito."
He is used to small dogs, a small bird, other bunz and guinea pigs. Nothing seems to bother him much, he doesn't frighten easily. he would do best with a family who is appreciative of a busy, active bunny who loves lots of space to exercise and do his fabulous binkies (jumping in the air and wiggling his body, really fast!). Will you be the lucky one(s) to adopt Jeramyah?

Roxy & Calvin
Calvin and Roxy are a sweet, loving pair with plenty of charm to amaze you! Spayed/Neutered, this adult pair is stable, lots of fun and very happy. They are seeking a special home to play and be in comfort with their family. They do have each other so you don't need to worry if you have to be gone during the day. They are accustomed to free roaming indoor life. They love hays and greens plus fresh water in a nice crockery bowl. Yes they are litter box trained. They use a large size litter box and a paper based litter.
Calvin is brown with a smooth, even disposition. He loves nose rubs and plenty of affection. Roxy is the adventurous one/the explorer. Calvin dislikes hardwood floors so if you have those he'd need a carpet runner to be able to use the space. Roxy can walk on any floor surface. They are 100% bonded to each other and snuggle and kiss with abandon. They are well known for their jumps for joy (binkies)! They also appreciate their family. My name is Fini (finished / last) I am the lucky one in the middle. I am the last bunny to be rescued from Moreland. Over 116 of my brothers and sisters were rescued. Sadly my friend Ms Strips was not among them. She was taken from me days before my rescue.
Zina (gray) and Sonia (white) welcomed me in their family with open paws and ears They have unconditional love for me and I share my love and heart with them. Together we will show our love and hearts with you. Zina and Sonia were rescued from another site. They were being raised to be meat rabbits. Oh no. We truly know that we were all given a 2nd chance on life. We would like to share that chance with you.
We are so close and bonded with other it was love at first sight. Zina is the shy one among us. Sonia thinks she is so funny when the takes the oat hay right out of my mouth while I am eating it. We comfort, watch over, and play with other through out the day. Our foster mom said “It takes just a little extra time to care for 3. The extra time is rewarded 10 times when she sees us play and comfort one another. She also said that it is a great joy and comfort to hold us close to her heart.
Auntie Heather will arrange a special meeting with you and us in Sunnyvale or Santa Cruz. We are counting the days down to that special day.

Penelope
My name is Penelope. I'm a real nice bunny I was found stray just before Christmas. I don't know exactly why I lost my owner, but I did. They haven't been interested in coming back to get me and I don't know why, because I'm friendly and very very sweet. I am an adult, medium sized bun, who is at the present time very skinny and boney. Something happened that I didn't get enough to eat and lost a lot of weight. I'm currently in a foster home in order to get special care to fatten me up. Because I'm kind of skinny I don't have as much energy as I might usually, but all that will change now that I'm getting good care. If you are looking for a adult bunny who is medium sized, a little shy, but friendly, I'm your girl. I really want a forever home soon.

Hope
I am the spirit of Hope for all Moreland rescued bunnies. I was the first bunny to be rescued by the Haven 8-1. I was wondering on the sidewalk, I was alone and so hungry. Yes, I am one of the 101 Moreland rescued bunnies. I'm a beautiful tiny white girl bunny with magical ruby eyes. I want a loving, gentle sweet home and I am very peaceful.
Will you feed me alfalfa hay, alfalfa pellets, and some greens please? I can't seem to stop eating - it tastes so good and feels wonderful to have a fully tummy finally. I also love pets and to be held - I Live alone now with my plush bunny friend and that is ok. I do love playtime and I can do a binky ! I need your love and a family to be my very own.
When I am older, my spay will be covered by the Haven - Ask Auntie about that. Oh, she says I am so much prettier than in my picture! Really I am. I am very cute!

I was rescued from Moreland in August. I have now been neutered and I live in a TLC site with the Rabbit Haven. I am a black in color, a male, about 3 1/2 months old with white markings. I am very energetic and love to run and binky. I am adventurous and like to climb - I need a 30” tall pen because I will climb out of the small ones! I have been a bit territorial when I had to share my things and ok, I did start arguments with his siblings. I am just getting over my neutering. I love to play with toys, especially little wooden ones I can toss in the air. I am very good at using my litter box. My foster mom says I am a love when I can be the only bun. I use my litter box and I am very good looking. Come meet me!

King of Hearts
See my video!
King came to The Haven from the Moreland rescue. He says:
I was one of the Five of Hearts, but two of my siblings have already been adopted. I'd like to be adopted with my sibling, Jack, but I can be a solo bunny too. I'm a Moreland baby. Ask the volunteers about what a harrowing rescue I had from under a metal container. I love alfalfa hay, KMR, and fresh leafy greens. I also like to play with toys and my sister and brother.

Jack of Hearts
See my video!
Jack came to The Haven from the Moreland rescue. He says:
I'm a Moreland rescue bunny, and there are a lot of baby bunnies that look similar to me, but I am unique. Yes I am a Dutch mix bunny. I'm a boy. I was part of the litter of five called the Five of Hearts. We were so tiny and scared that when we were initially petted, we'd squish down like pancakes. Now I know that getting petted is good and that humans can be nice. I'd like to be adopted with my brother, King, but I can be an only bunny too or find a girlfriend after I am neutered in September. Ask Auntie Heather about the surgery and she'll give you the details.

Chenoa
See my video!
Chenoa came to The Haven from the Moreland rescue. She says:
I am a bit adventurous. I’m a girl bunny with magical ruby eyes and a beautiful disposition. I think I am stunning, if I do say so myself. I’m here with my remaining two brothers, but I’d like a forever home as soon as possible. I’m being pretty good with my litter box and growing bigger each day. I’ll need to be spayed in December. Ask Auntie Heather about where to get the surgery. I like toys and a cottontail cottage to climb in. And I love pets too.
If you will spoil me I will do my best to be adorable and promise to be a good girl. Have toys?
is now ready for a home of her own.

Lonnie
Hello my name is Lonnie. I'm a Hotot type bunny- you can tell that from the black eyeliner around my eyes. I am a neutered male bunny looking for a friendly home with lots of room to roam. My foster home is nice, but I don't get as much exercise time as I would like because there are so many bunnies needing a turn. I'd really like a cottontail cottage to climb on. I really don't like dogs and their barking really scares me. I would prefer a home with no dogs. I have a little problem on one of my eyes which makes me “special” needs. I have an early onset cataract! Yep, there it is – the vet says it is ok just the way it is and it does not bother me. But you would need to help me by watching it to make sure I see a vet once yearly and I need to be able to open and close that eye. I am such a good boy you won’t even notice and I CAN see out of that eye. I am special. My vet is Dr Carolynn Harvey. She’s pretty special too.

Ra
Ra is a white rex baby bunny with beautiful magical ruby eyes. He is responding to loving touch, gentle music, and attention. Now security and comfort are leading the way towards curiosity and playfulness. He really enjoys doing binky runs and zooming around. He is small enough to still enjoy kitten meal replacement formula from a bowl, but also enjoys romaine, alfalfa hay, alfalfa pellets, and toys.

Isis
Isis is a adult blue Rex female – she is stunning, soft and gentle/ she has loving, warm brown eyes. She was found along with two other abandoned Rex bunnies and brought into a shelter, and soon made her way into The Haven. Isis enjoys her toys, particularly the ones she can toss around, and she is loves her Timothy hay and pellets, romaine lettuce and other dark leafy greens. She likes her humans and other animals too. She appreciates being approached gently and seems to enjoy being cuddled and softly spoken too. Her ears are very long and expressive, and she often holds them forward to make sure she can hear everything that is going on around her. What a beautiful girl. Come to meet Isis. She is incredibly soft. She’d make a great free roaming house rabbit.

Akuti
Akuti means "princess" and she's definitely a princess in character. She came to us as part of a New Mexico rescue, hence her Native American name, and she's proving to be quite a Diva. This little girl likes her pen just so and will rearrange it if everything is not in the right place. She's quite inquisitive and wants to know what's going on in the world. She plays with her bell toys and loves to scratch the bottom of her cardboard hidey house. But mainly she's focused enjoying playtime. She would like to be an only child. Akuti lives in an x pen setting and has plenty of run about time. She is a smaller lop with perfect white fur and ruby blue eyes. This lop girl was probably born at the end of May 2009. She appreciates you timothy and Botanical hay mix salad and dark leafy greens – She likes her humans and snuggling and just being with them. She is a great daughter. She's ready for adoption –She’s spayed and litter box trained. Cats ok prefer no barking dogs. Akuti is very gentle and likes lots of attention. Tiara please!!!

Quentin
Hello everyone, my name is Quentin. I lost my home because of foreclosure; I'm not sure what that is but my humans had to move to a place that sadly had no room for me. So now I'm looking forward to living with a loving new family, and since I'm used to living in a home I already have good house manners. I am neutered and very good with my litterbox. I shed just a little bit, I'm quiet and don't rattle my pen or throw my stuff around. I'm the sweetest, mellowest guy ever and I love to be held and cuddled. I like having lots of room to roam and play but am also content to sometimes lay around (as long as I get lots of petting from my humans!).
I am so easygoing that other critters don't faze me in the least: small dogs, chirpy birds, other bunz, guinea pigs and the neighbor's cats. I am awesome, if I do say so myself, and I would enrich your life a lot (also, I might be a wonderful furry friend for the bunny you already have). I'm looking forward to meeting you real soon!

Klondike
Klondike is 1 year old spayed bunny girl who once had 6 sisters and a mom.
We were rescued from a shelter-just in time. Then, after a short time, all
of my family was adopted, one by one, off they went. Now I am wondering,
"hey, what about me" - Here I am, all alone in my x pen, no bunnies but
me. I am lonely! I will appreciate a loving home where I can be my
wonderful self and be happy again. Perhaps I can even find a companion? I
am a joyful bunny who loves to play and munch on hays. I'll watch a video
with you on occasion on the couch. I like to jump up on the couch here. I
love my spring mix, cilantro, and celery. I am easy going and very mello. I
even get along fabulously with cats. I run loose in the house so she can
stretch my legs too. Oh, I am perfect with the litter box. All around I
guess I am an exceptional bunny girl. You can't get enough of me!
