Hello! My name is Aurora. I'm a beautiful medium sized bunny with golden fur that has grayish tones blended in soft swirls. I have a cast collar on so I don't chew my itchy healing surgical wound. See, even though the vets use sterile techniques, sometimes a surgery site can get infected. I was so close to getting out of the shelter, but now I'm on antibiotics. I'm expected to heal fully, but because of my infection, I'm now on the kill list at the shelter. I have to get out of here! Can you help?
They say there are just too many unwanted animals and not enough good homes for us all, so ones that have any problem at all are in deep trouble. I do not want to die, I am still a young girl. I have a full life ahead of me if I can get out of this shelter. I'm praying for a miracle. I'm a good bunny girl and I want to be someone's special somebunny. I'm good with my potty box and I like being pet and held. I need someone to care for this wound and I come with my antibiotics!!! I would love to be a house bunny with all the warmth of an indoor home and all the TLC from a family that I can interact with. If you can save me, please contact the Rabbit Haven by email ASAP!!!! director@therabbithaven.org.
Every day I am unsure if I will see the next. Auntie Heather can go get me if you will take me in and love me. You can even meet an advocate for me in San Jose or Los Gatos. Please do something right away. I am scared here and I want to get out and be safe.
I’m so ready to be loved and to love in return. Kisses, Aurora.
