Five Baby Rabbits Found in a Box

While visiting a local business, one of our volunteers was alerted that a box of baby bunnies had been found outside a nearby store. The staff were frantic thinking the lethargic little ones might be dying. They had no idea who to call. They were ready to call the nearest shelter but since all the shelters were full they did not want to take them there. Thankfully Stacy arrived and The Haven was able to help. These little ones were only 4 weeks old! They were severely dehydrated and malnourished. All needed immediate vet care and fluids. All had Coccdia. Our volunteer Stacy called and obtained authorization from The Haven to rescue the babies and they went in for immediate vet care and support. These box bunnies are now safe inside The Haven system. Three darling Dutch babies, a hotot mix and a lionhead were in the box. They are simply adorable! All are perfectly healthy and happy now. Want somebunny to love? Call us about these amazing bunnies. Kona and Moani were recently adopted, but the other three girls are still looking for a home of their own.
