Lyra, Lute and Kazoo
This lovely American fuzzy lop girl came to us from a local shelter with three kits. Sadly, two died before the shelter released them to us.
One surviving baby, Lute, is a joyful baby - so fat and happy! She looks just like her mom! They are both black and white with the most adorable black
lop ears and face. Everything about them is cute, and sweet too! Lyra has agreed to be the surrogate mom to Kazoo, the teeny tiny brown baby,
who is about 14 days old. Lyra cleans him and is doing her best to help him out and keep him warm. Such a lonely baby, he was so scared when he came in,
but now in this little family he feels more at home. Even the lop baby grooms him. Kazoo is a very small dwarf mix bunny about the size of a mouse.
He is an adorable little baby, and no, this is not a wild bunny. We found Kazoo on Christmas Eve at a shelter when we were delivering gift bags to
the bunnies spending the holidays there. Kazoo is being hand fed while Lyra attends to his emotional needs.
Lyra is such a lovely and kind mother bunny. Only five more weeks to go with the babies, then she can be on her own.
Two weeks later she can be spayed and will be available for adoption into her forever home.
If you wish to sponsor a baby or contribute to
Lyra's spay, you can donate via Paypal, or donate by check.
