Dear Friends,
I am posting on behalf of The Monterey SPCA, which just confiscated 26 rabbits from inhumane conditions. The rabbits were intended for human consumption. The shelter is now overcrowded with 41 rabbits and is in very urgent need of permanent INDOOR homes for rabbits. All rabbits will be spayed, neutered and microchipped. They are used to living in groups, but could be adopted solo. Despite the horrible and sad conditions these surviving rabbits lived in, they are still sweet and will make great companions. Can you help even one rabbit have a joyful and loving New Year?

At last someone cares about us!

I'm too cute to be someone's dinner ;-(

Will you give us a chance at happiness?

Please... love us.
I can finally relax without fear.
We are still wondering if life can be good.

For more information on how to help, please contact me or the following resources. We are all filled beyond capacity. What's needed:

PERMANENT and Foster Homes. Donations of food and supplies. Also , if you are looking to adopt a rabbit or a companion rabbit, an adoption from an existing rabbit from these sites will free up space to rescue rabbits in need at Monterey:
