Rabbits from the Moreland Site are Now Available for Adoption
August 20, 2009

The Rabbit Haven is pleased to announce that we are beginning adoptions for bunnies rescued from the colony that was living at the Moreland Woods site
in San Jose. These rabbits have been treated for parasites, fed and nurtured by Haven foster families, and are now ready for homes of their own. They
will soon be listed on our adoption showcase of available bunnies, and we will also begin showing these rabbits at our adoption shows in
Santa Cruz and Sunnyvale.
Each adopter of a Moreland rabbit will receive a very special gift pack created just for the Moreland bunnies by Haven volunteers. Each pack will contain:
- A special hand crafted blanket made by one of our Haven volunteers
- A hand made jingle toy built by Haven volunteers
- A hay roll toy made by two young Haven volunteers
- A selection of healthy treats from Bunny Bytes
- A starter bag of high quality pelleted food from Bunny Bytes
- Several toys from For Other Living Things
- Pictures of their new friend
- Haven news material about the Moreland rescue
For Other Living Things, The Busy Bunny, Oxbow, Pet Food Express, Bunny Bytes and other Haven supporters have also generously donated food and supplies that are being used by the many foster sites that are caring for the Moreland rabbits while they are awaiting adoption.
