Suna and her litter Say Hello to Suna and her five kits: Meecha, Lalu, Kome, Tatu, and Katini. Suna and her family were just rescued by The Haven from a local shelter.

Precious Suna was rescued from a shelter with 9 tiny little ones. Several babies were dead on arrival and one, tiny Pria, died a day later. Suna was upset when Pria died. She stayed close by Pria did not allow us to remove Pria right away. She stood up in about 30 minutes and nudged the infant with her nose and laid down, moving back. Then, she allowed us to take Pria away. We kept Pria close by the room for awhile. Suna seemed very sad, but then went off to care for her other babies.

Suna, sweet Suna was so traumatized when we got her, something terrible must have happened to her before she arrived at the shelter. We are grateful that the shelter called us to rescue her. This black Dutch mix female appears to be around one year of age and is healthy - She weighs about 5 pounds. When she arrived she could not move, could not raise her ears or look up at her caregivers. But now that she has been in a calm environment with love, care and plenty of pets she is sitting upright, eats like crazy and her ears stand up tall, but she is not playing yet. She is not secure enough to play but she enjoys couch time where she stretches out and sleeps. She also loves eating oat hay. When she learns that she is safe, loved and she can do what she wants, she will relax enough to show her true personality. She is a very good bunny and has mastered the use of her litter box. She is the most gentle bunny mom. She looks at us when we come to feed her and gently cares for her five remaining babies. Each precious baby is delicate and oh so gentle. Each one is very different in their personality.

Baby Meecha is the clearly marked black and white Dutch baby - this bunny is energetic and clearly the leader of the litter. Meecha is very centered and joyful. Lilu is the all black baby with white feet. This bunny is a darling one who thrills in all that happens around him He loves hay and his mommy. Kome, Tatu and Katini are all white, fluffy and sweet as apples - they are always very close to Mommie. Little angels all, petite, tiny , precious to the bone. Very delicate tiny ones. Katini is the smallest of all these babies, she is just a tiny little sweetheart. Suna's babies
