Washington Needs a Thanksgiving Miracle
November 27, 2008
Hello, my name is Washington and I am writing to you to ask for your help to save my life. Auntie said I could tell you about my situation and you might be able to help me find a way I can get out of here ASAP!

I live in shelter right now on "borrowed time" ...whatever that means. I sort of have an idea though. I do not recall how I got here but the whole experience has been weird. It has all happened so quickly- jammed in a box - fast motions- strange new people, in a cage, then here I am in a cold pen. At least I have a litter box and I get food and water and hay. This is good.

I like the pets I get when anyone comes to see me but I am stuck in a back room in a plain cage and I am lonely. NOW, For some unknown reason, I am considered unadoptable because I cock my head at times. I think that is ok- do you?

NOW people here are talking about me like they want me gone (know what I mean)? I do not want to say the words out loud- but I do not want to die. I want to let you know that I want out and if you can help me outta here I'd be very happy. I need to leave this place really quickly.

I love people usually. I have caused no trouble. I am only 6 months old and I am not one bit sick either. I love kisses and holding and I use my litter box. (Gosh!! lots of other rabbits here cock their head) Even though I only have paper here for my floor I try to keep clean. I love pets, hay, greens and to do binkies. They say I am sort of small and I am VERY curious about everything. I like to cock my head to see stuff and play for hours on end. Geesh, I didn't think it was a problem. It's just how I am.

I want to run, play and love - Do you have any place for me? If you can help me will you please call my auntie Heather - She will help you help me. Her number is 831 600-7479 or you can email her- she has a COMPUTER director@therabbithaven.org.

So will you please save my life? If you do, I will be your love bug for many years to come and I will be VERY thankful to you.

Happy thanksgiving to you - wishing I was there with you.

Love,
Washington

I need your help please.
