Thanks to the generous contributions from bunny lovers across the continent and from dedicated volunteers who made toys, assembled bags, and distributed treat bags and TLC to bunnies at local shelters and foster homes, Every Bunny Had a Good Holiday!

We are grateful for the donations from Auntie Em's Bunny Biscuits, Bunny Bytes, The Busy Bunny, Carolyn J. Mosher, For Other Living Things, Funny Bunny Toy Company, Oxbow Hay, Pet Food Express, RabbitStop.com, Scotts Valley Feed, and Timali & Co (also known as pet-rabbit-toys.com). With their help, the Rabbit Haven elves assembled over 400 holiday treat bags with goodies and toys that provided our homeless friends with a little nutrition and entertainment and much needed bunny-loving! We visited 11 shelters and many more foster homes - the bunnies loved the attention almost as much as the volunteers!

We even had some rescued angels - a little tiny baby that was found in the streets of San Jose was rescued and helped supervise the bag-filling party. Her name is Holiday. And on the day after Christmas while delivering gift bags, we discovered a mother bunny and her family who needed immediate care. Bonita and her six kits were rushed to the hospital for emergency services. Without immediate treatment, it is likely that she would have died, and left her three day old babies orphaned. All are doing well now - see more pictures of them on our website.
