There are many ways that you can help the Rabbit Haven in its efforts to rescue and to find homes for abandoned rabbits.  If you are able to fill any of these wishes, we offer you a donor letter for tax purposes and even a mileage travel and expense form to help you keep track of your volunteer donations of travel (.14 cents per mile) and all expenditures you make on behalf of our nonprofit program. We also have a wishlist on Amazon.com that you can use to donate supplies.

Equipment

bulletComputer for downloading pictures and tracking e-mail - needed for volunteer marketing person.
bulletHigh quality digital camera - at least 3 mega pixels.
bulletNebulizer for rabbits with respiratory problems.
bullet Microscopes
bullet Otoscopes
bullet Color printers (in good condition)
bullet CD and Tape players and gentle music tapes for foster sites.
bullet Portable sewing machine in good condition for sewing pads for bunny cages at shelters
bullet Craft supply: glitter, glues and poster boards
bullet Money for Rabbit Medical Books.

Volunteer Services

bulletPick up and deliver bales of hay to shelter and foster sites.
bulletBecome a foster site for one or more rabbits.
bulletHelp rabbits meet the public at our adoption events.
bulletBecome a shelter advocate (opportunities in Santa Cruz, Santa Clara, San Benito, and Monterey counties, from San Jose to Salinas!
bulletTransport surrendered rabbits between sites.

Bunny Supplies

bullet Bunny Litter - Cat Country,  Carefresh, or Yesterday's News. (paper based litters no clay, wood shavings or walnut shell please)
bulletNew litter boxes - all sizes.
bullet Hard-shell carriers with front and top openings.
bullet X pens (Precision Pens) - 24", 30" or 36" high.
bullet 5" Crockery food and water dishes.
bulletPen linens - bath mats, baby blankets, queen- or king-size flat sheets.
bulletBaby play zones.
bulletBaby toys, such as plastic ring toss toys -- any child-safe toys that bunny can throw, push around, or listen to  (e.g., music boxes).
bulletDonations of hay  - grass hay, oat hay, or timothy.
bullet Rabbit toys of all kinds- wire balls, barrel toys, willow balls
bullet Plain, untreated willow baskets
bullet Willow mats for resting
bullet Padding and materials to make pads for shelter cages
bulletFresh greens and veggies, such as dandelion greens, cilantro, parsley, carrot tops, basil, and mint
bullet Gift certificates or donations of bunny toys and supplies from stores, such as Busy Bunny.com, For Other Living things, and Zoo Corner.
