Wounds to Felix' back, shoulder and feet
Felix - Battered Baby Bunny
Poor bunny baby, Baby Felix. This tiny bunny was brought to an area shelter
as a "stray". Due to the quick thinking of our shelter advocate and shelter
special needs coordinator we were able to get him out and into medical care
Thursday 12/13, and on the road to healing right away. With the amount of infection present he is very lucky to be
alive. Blessings to Kim and Terri our medical support staff, who took Felix in right away. Felix has
received wound care and phyical support and will be seen by Dr. Harvey soon.
Under doctors orders we began antibitotics, pain medications and subcutaneous fluids. He
is in step one on his road to recovery. Poor baby!!! He has so many bite wounds and areas that look
like burns on his body. One large scabbed areas is fully abscessed and
needed to be cleaned and drained immediately. Felix is now receiving the highest quality care at our
medical foster site. We will give him whatever he needs to get well, and then find a home of his own.
Please send healing energy to our tiny little Felix. He is in the care
of Dr. Carolynn Harvey at Chabot and our medical support foster site. If you
can offer financial support, Felix will be very grateful for the help.
You can make a cash donation to help with Felix'
expenses via Paypal, or
